Alaska's Institute Of Professional Nail Technology I started nail school in August 2000. I took an extensive 250 hour course, the course of study was the Milady's Art & Science of Professional Nail Technology recognized nationwide as the most informative & successful program for this industry. My Training & Certification was through the Providence Learning Center in 2000. I did my Clinicals at Providence Extended Care Center (PECC) and continued working at PECC after graduation. My course of study varies from causes & prevention of Infectious diseases (Bachterias & Viruses) to how to care Patients who suffer from diabetes, Dementia & Alzheimers just to name a few. I had some difficulties dealing with the very high death rate at PECC and then decided to go to home health care. I worked as a CNA six hours in the morning then went to nail tech school untill aroung 7 p.m, until I graduated then I opened my own salon, Nail Addiction. Now I do house, hospital & nursing home house calls for those who are disabled, elderly or have some medical condition that prevents them from comming to me.
